Choose a final project name
Fix all issues related to this milestone
Make sure the sphinx doc is consistent with the current code
Open a MR to the main branch
Fill the CHANGELOG.md file
Set the __version__ variable to 1.0.0
Accept the MR after reviewing is OK
tag the version with a tag message identical to the CHANGELOG message.
