Univ. Grenoble Alpes is opening a software engineer position within the framework of the “Artificial Intelligence for natural hazard and geo-resources” initiative (part of the 3AI Institute) led by the laboratories ISTerre and Gipsa-Lab. This project is highly relying on the intensive analysis of large datasets of continuous seismological and geodetic records.
Performing this analysis requires developing new data analysis algorithms and their implementation on HPC architectures.
The proposed position is focused on developing and maintaining an environment required for executing intensive geophysical data analysis on different types of HPC resources including those available at UGA and on remote cloud computing facilities.
